Strapless Version – This mod changes the color, and removes the straps from the Harness object in the game, for males this means that it makes the Harness item a completely topless item, for females I kept the “sports bra” like rags so that this is not adult content. So If you were looking to keep your pants on, but take your shirt off, now you can by installing this mod.
Topless Version – This mod changes the color, and removes the top from the Harness object in the game, for males and females this means that it makes the Harness item a completely topless item, including the sports bra rags on females. This is compatible with nudity mods, so if you have one enabled the ladies version will be NSFW. So If you were looking to keep your pants on, but take your shirt off, now you can by insatlling this mod.
Installation:
Step 1: Copy the raider04_d.dds file from the zip file into your Fallout 4 install path, the path may be different for you but for me it is at:
Steam\SteamApps\Common\Fallout 4\Data\textures\armor\raider04
I have included the folder structure starting with “textures” in the zip file to make this a little easier
Step 2: As with all texture mods, you will need to edit your Fallout4.ini file to allow the loading of loose files, if you haven’t already. The Fallout4.ini file is located in Documents\My Games\Fallout4. You would need to add:
, TEXTURES\
to the sResourceDataDirsFinal= sting within this file (under the [Archive] header), an example of what it would look like after the edit:
sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\, TEXTURES\
This step is option if you have already included TEXTURES in the sResourceDataDirsFinal entry.
Un-Installation:
Delete the Raider04 folder from the armor subfolder.
Issues / Bugs:
the is a tiny sliver of the original “strap” on the back right shoulder of male characters (not females for some reason). I have tried for several hours to find and remove this, but this exists in a section of the texture right next to the socks, I could not remove it without also causing a hole to appear in the mesh at the socks, it is barely noticeable, so I gave up on trying.

I have included an Alpha channels .zip that contains the Alpha channels that make the magic happen here. I included this so that any of you out there who want to make that harness (or gunner harness) that you downloaded into a strapless or topless version can by applying these alpha channels.
