This simple mod hides helmets while still giving you protection. Currently it only works for small amount of headgears but I’m planning on expanding it. If you want some helmet added fell free to leave a comment with it’s name.
This mod comes in two versions:
Replacer:
This versions replaces vanilla helmets with invisible ones. That means everyone in game will have hidden helmets.
Standalone:
This version adds new helmets to the game. They are identical to vanilla except they are invisible. To get them you’ll have to use console. Open it using ~ and type “help hidden 0”. You’ll see list of helmets with their ID. Then type “player.additem

Installation
Just use NMM or extract to data and enable hidehelmets.esp.
