Companion Weapon Improvement


Ever notice that in Fallout New Vegas the companions had theirown variants of base weapons that were customised to the individual companion (Boone had a custom scoped Hunting Rifle, Lilly had the unique Virtibird Blade & custom Silenced Assault Carbine, Raul had his Scoped Magnum, etc.). Now look at Fallout 4s companion weapons, they’re exactly the same as the base game weapons that can be commonly found across the world, after realising this I decided to rectify this.
This mod aims to give companion weapons a uniqueness to them, similar to the weapons Fallout NVs companions used.

Unfortunately, due to FO4 EDIT not fully understanding Fallout 4 weapon data, what I can do is limited to altering few details of companion weapons, so I
edited the weapon data for the companions weapon data to make them as unique as I can, not only from the default weapons they were based on, but from each others weapons as well.

Spoiler:

Cait: Double-Barrel Shotgun now does 67 damage, instead of 45
Deacon: Hunting Rifle now hold 9 rounds instead of 5, and does 52 damage instead of 40
Hancock: Double-Barrel Shotgun now shoots both barrels at once, dealing justover double damage (base was 45, now is 92), however, because he shoots both barrels he now has to reload after each shot
Hancock: Knife does 14 damage instead of 10
McCready: Hunting Rifle now does 66 damage instead 40, ammo has not beenaltered
Piper: 10mm Pistol now does 23 damage instead of 18, and now holds 12 ammoinstead of 8 (aiming to make this fully automatic)
Strong: Now does 27 damage instead of 15 (if I find out how to make it swingfaster I’ll make it swing slightly faster and reduce damage a little)
Valentine: Pipe Revolver now does 36 damage instead of 24 (tried to make it a.44 magnum, game did not like it)
