Roleplaying in Fallout 4 is a way of playing the game in which player force himself to play with certains rules and restrictions in order to increase immersion, difficulty and game longevity.
Roleplaying requires flexibility, creativity and effort. Basically you decide a stiff way of play (that may change during gameplay to adjust personal needs and preferences) and you stick with it for the whole playthrough.
