!!THIS MOD IS NOT COMPLETE AND HIGHLY EXPERIMENTAL!! It won’t break your game though, promise 🙂
You more than likely will run into issues, if the mod works at all. I need testers!! There are currently some issues with how we have to create HUD mods, and as such some users cannot activate new/edited fonts for reasons unknown. Please test and post, I will be attempting to fix all the issues.
This mod replaces the Xbox button prompts with PS3 ones. Or at least it tries 🙂
INSTALLATION:
1. Edit Documents/My Games/Fallout4.ini — Under [Archive] edit the line
sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\, INTERFACE\
Just make sure that somewhere on that line the INTERFACE\ is there. Note the commas between each entry, but not at the end.
2. Unzip the download into your data folder. It should look like Fallout4/Data/Interface/fonts_en.swf
3. Run the game!
Before posting about the mod not working, please try Alternate UI Fonts without this mod and see if that works. If it doesn’t, you’re having the same issue as some others. ( No fix yet :/ ) If it does and mine doesn’t, please post in this forum.
