WHAT IT DOES
It’s a simple script that alters a few choice game settings, so sneaking works much better.
(Sorry, I tried to make it an .esp. Odin knows I TRIED. Just can’t seem to make it work. So a script will have to do. On the bright side, as a script, you can edit it yourself with Notepad if you don’t like my values. Make it even more unbalanced, or nerf sneaking with a vengeance, or whatever you wish. No modding experience necessary. Use GETGS in the console to find the original values for reference, before running the script, if you want to get an idea of what you’re changing and how much.)
Note that it doesn’t make you completely invisible (unless you edit the script yourself and boost it even more). You CAN be detected if you run in front of some raider in power armour. And Agility, perks, shadowed or muffled armour pieces, suppressors, etc, still help. You WILL get a hefty boost to sneaking, but it’s not TAI or anything. Sort of my idea a semi-realistic Hollywood ninja. Keyword being: SEMI.
HOW TO INSTALL IT
Unpack “supahninja.txt” into your Fallout 4 folder. That means, directly where the game executable is, not the Data directory.
HOW TO GET IT
Open the console and run “bat supahninja”. Enjoy.
Note that you must run this EVERY TIME you launch the game, since the changes aren’t saved. On the bright side this brings us to…
HOW TO UNINSTALL IT
Delete the supahninja.txt batch file to completely uninstall. Or if you just want to play without it for a while, exit the game, start the game again, and just don’t run the script.
LICENSE
I release it into a public domain. I’m not gonna hound anyone just because they changed the same variables in the game. If you want to make your own sneak rebalance and start from this, go for it.
